The objective of this project has been to produce a concrete proposal for the particular organizational form of the innovation agency including a business and organization plan and to discuss the applicability of selected European innovation agency type models in the Slovenian context.
An organizational study resulted from a study group comprising a Slovenian team and external experts to ensure the production of a comprehensive report to serve as a solid basis for informed and efficient implementation of an innovation agency. The organizational study addresses several potential parameters in order to supply a policy relevant document. The mission statement focuses on the types of technology that the innovation agency is to promote; the role the innovation agency is to play in relation to the state and the existing science and research organizations; its types of activities; and appropriate funding mechanisms. |
