The project aimed to provide data and analyses that allow an evaluation of the current status and potential of the science and technology sector in Slovenia, especially with regard to management training needs at various levels, and to design a pilot training programme for directors of R&D units or institutions.
Work on this project has been organized in three main phases: Institutional assessment of S&T policy-relevant institutions has been followed by a survey of all R&D units and moved into the stage of a pilot training programme.
Collaborating at this project are ICCR-London, and the Institute for Urban Studies of Slovenia (UPI) which is responsible for monitoring the fieldwork of the survey. |
