Acronym PROTECT Title Integration Measures for Persons in Need of International Protection Co-ordinator ICCR, Vienna, Austria Client UNHCR, Vienna, Austria Duration April 1995 - April 1996 Person Responsible Liana Giorgi Objectives The Study, commissioned by the UNHCR, analyses, compares and evaluates the measures for persons in need of international protection in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Particular attention is placed on the legal framework of integration in all four countries and the role of non-governmental organizations, including the UNHCR and with reference especially to recognized refugees and war refugees from former Yugoslavia.
