| Objectives |
The objectives of this project were firstly to understand the social organization of research programmes at European and national levels within Europe through the analysis of researchers' networks, and secondly, to gain a better understanding of the links between socio-environmental research and environmental policy in Europe. It was organized according to the following major areas of research: principal elements in research culture; an exploration of the meaning of policy relevance; links between researchers and users; and existing European research projects on the environment. |
