	The final workshop had the objective to present the findings of the REGIONET project. Additionally, paper presentations and inputs from policy-makers allowed to have a comprehensive overview of regional sustainable development in Europe.
	Pierre Valette (Head of Unit Political Aspects & Strategy for Sustainable Development, DG Research, European Commission) outlining the EC approach for sustainable development analysis.
	Reimar Molitor (Regionale 2010, IÖW, Germany) handing over the 17 National Reports on Regional Sustainable Development in Europe to Pierre Valette.
	The workshop provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences between the more than 100 participants from 21 European countries.
