Closing Session: Discussion on Policy & Research Recommendations

What can be learned from existing research on services concerned with social and housing integration as well as from research on homelessness? What should be the priorities of social policy in the next decade and, in this connection, what is the role of the European social policy agenda?

What are the main research gaps that national and European research programmes  (including of the Sixth Framework Programme and/or Eurostat) could or should address? Are the gaps greater concerning quantitative or qualitative research? What types of networks are needed to address the research challenges in this field in the next five years?
