Curriculum Vitae

Christophe Roux, born in 1975 in Rabat (Morocco), is an associate researcher at the CIR. He holds a joint PhD in political science (University of Lille) and comparative European politics (University of Siena); his doctoral dissertation (discussed in 2005) dealt with the politics of territorial identity in Corsica and Sardinia.

He taught political sociology and political institutions at the Institute of Political Studies of Lille from 2003 to 2005.
His research interests are nationalist movements, regionalist parties, ethnic conflicts and multiculturalism in Europe; Italian politics.
He was editor of L'Italie du politique (Montpellier: Climats, 2003) and he is working on a book about Corsican nationalism (to be published by Presses Universitaires du Septentrion, in 2006).

Since 2004 he has been a member of the editorial board of Pôle Sud. Revue de science politique de l'Europe méridionale.
